Installation – Supplied Prefabricated
Below are details of the installation of 100m of 6.0m high JCW Absorbent Sound Screen.
All materials are supplied and delivered prefabricated in 3 parts to site and then inserted into galvanised steel posts.
1. Preparation for setting out drilling and installing anchor bolts with resin to British Standards.
2. Posts fixed and installing bottom layer of prefabricated panel.
3. Second layer of prefabricated panel installed and top layer of prefabricated panel in progress of installation using telehandler with safe lifting equipment and all terrain scissor lift.
4. Completed project showing both sides of JCW Absorbent Sound Screen.
Installation – Supplied loose and built up on site
Below are details of the installation of 225m of 3.4m high JCW Traffic Sound Barrier between a new housing development and existing railway track (required for planning permission by local authorities).
All materials are supplied and delivered loose to site and built up on site by our fitters.
1. large plant used for the project.
2. The existing fence line.
3. Existing ground and fence height to be set out by client. Position of fence line agreed between client and JCW Acoustic Supplies. Fence line to be CAT tested before any digging takes place. Post holes / foundations are excavated using an excavator and mechanical auger attachment at maximum 2.4m centres.
4. Installation of the galvanised steel posts.
5. Installation of the timber gravel boards and intermediate timber horizontal rails.
6. Install top timber horizontal rail and timber capping rail.
